Overview
The client's brief was simple: extend indoor living straight onto a low-maintenance deck, add statement stairs and create a weather-proof spot for the big screen and PS5. We delivered wide composite boards, app-controlled lighting and a rendered TV recess — built for low-maintenance movie nights.

Composite Decking Surface
140 mm grooved boards in "Silver Gum" — UV-stable, splinter-free and zero annual oiling
Level Subfloor
LVL bearers on galvanised stirrups laser-levelled to match the interior floor height for a true step-out transition
Oversized Stairs
3-rise, 150 mm treads running the full width of the living-room sliders, framed in 90 × 45 H3 timber
Bluetooth LED Lighting
Recessed stair lights and under-board strip LEDs synced to a phone app (colour-change + dimmer)
Render-Ready TV Wall
Box-out framed in 70 × 35 pine, sheeted with Blueboard for acrylic render finish. Built-in niche sized for PS5 and media hub
Hidden Services
Conduit under the deck for power, HDMI and speaker cable — no messy wires
